New walls. New prints.

The construction phase of our renovation is coming to an end – BIG CHEER – and all that really remains is for us to install new baseboards and hang the doors. Let me just say that having no doors is a huge pain in the arse. HUGE! Anyways, I digress. With the noisy and disruptive phase almost over, it’s time to start making it pretty around here with accessories, prints and such.

We recently wrapped up painting (for those interested, we went with Sophisticated by Para Paints in every room) and now I have these beautiful fresh walls waiting for prints. We have a lot of wall space and so need quite a few prints. I don’t know about you, but I find the accessorizing phase of any home project the hardest. There are so many options that I get all indecisive and ultimately come to a halt. Ask me to put together a vignette and I freeze. I know all the rules but I just get overwhelmed and give up. Okay, I think I’m digressing again. This post was supposed to be about prints.

Prints. New walls. Walls need prints. Here’s some I’ve found and love.

Society 6 Prints

1 // 2 // 3

All of these prints are available via Society6, although I actually picked up the Wander print from Urban Outfitters last week. And look, it’s already hung on the wall. I need to get a custom matt made (the current one is too big) for it but I knew if I waited to get that, than the print would remain in it’s sleeve forever. I tend to procrastinate on small details such as this. So yah, if I take another shot a year from now, it’s likely I’ll still not have the custom matt. ;)

Oh, and the Invincible Summer print is also available at Urban Outfitters. I going to pick it up this week. Knowing my luck, it’ll need a custom matt too. Fingers crossed it doesn’t.

Keep in mind…

I’m a huge fan of quotes. The one below is a recent discovery and a great reminder to us all.
